The Groundation Foundation Band was founded by Charlie Visionaire,
one of the surviving original members of The Visionaires, a cultural
vocal group from Kingston Jamaica, that contributed to the foundational
roots of Reggae Music in the early 1970's.
Charlie Visionaire is an iconic character and a first class vocalist and performer.
His love of music and culture have motivated him to deliver messages of peace,
love and inspiration to all. As the saying goes, the message is in the music.
On this journey he has surrounded himself with a core group of fine musicians.
The Groundation Foundation Band is a versatile unit, based in Queens New York City,
covering the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, and prepared to
go anywhere the requirement takes them.
Reggae, R & B, Jazz, Hip Hop, Dancehall, Soca, It's all music to GFB, and they deliver
it all with passion in fine style for your dancing pleasure, and a memory to treasure.
